Material Description and Application

Acoustic foam is an open-celled foam used for acoustic treatment. It attenuates airborne sound waves by increasing air resistance, thus reducing the amplitude of the waves. A few of these Pyramid Design Acoustic Foam in the right places will definitely enhance and improve the sound quality produced by your audio gears and equipment.

Installation Permanent Installation: Can be easily installed on the walls using Liquid Nails. A caulking gun is needed to dispense liquid nails on a tube. We generally recommend using the Bostik brand.

Temporary Installation: You may use a piece of plywood to install the acoustic foams and hang them on the walls like picture frames.

Sample Installations

Important Notes: 

Colored Acoustic Foam normally fades after a few weeks. The discoloration is normal and does not affect its sound absorption capacity. Black is the safest color against discoloration.
